Who we are
Agreement Pro is built and operated by Vani Technologies. Vani Technologies decides how and why the personal data described here is used, which makes it the data fiduciary responsible for that data under Indian law.
In short
Agreement Pro uses personal data to manage rental properties, tenants, agreements, documents, branding, and generated legal PDFs.
What we collect
- Account profile details such as name, phone, email, city, and state.
- Property, room, tenant, guarantor, witness, company, rent, deposit, and agreement details.
- Identity and supporting documents uploaded for agreement records.
- Aadhaar and PAN numbers entered on an agreement, stored with the tenant record.
- Business branding images such as your logo and signature.
- Device permissions only when you use features that need the camera or your photos.
Who we share it with
- Private storage providers for uploaded documents and generated files.
- SMS, email, hosting, monitoring, and authentication providers where needed to operate the service.
- Another manager on Agreement Pro who searches for a tenant sees that tenant’s name, a masked Aadhaar number showing only the last four digits, and the tenant photo. A search matches a full Aadhaar number, part of a phone number, or part of a name, so a tenant can be found without knowing their full details. Nothing else about the tenancy is shared, and no approval step stands between the search and this result.
How long we keep it
Records are retained while the account is active and as needed for audit, legal, dispute, or business record purposes.
Your consent choices
The app asks for consent by purpose, and shows the same list under Settings, then Privacy. Four are required to run the service and four are optional.
- Account and profile (Required). Create, secure and manage your account.
- Agreement management (Required). Store property, tenant, guarantor, witness, company, rent and agreement details.
- Identity document storage (Required). Store Aadhaar, PAN, company and supporting documents attached to an agreement.
- Legal document generation (Required). Generate agreement PDFs from your records.
- Business branding (Optional). Store your logo, owner photo and signature for use on generated documents.
- Camera access (Optional). Take photos of documents from inside the app.
- Photo library access (Optional). Choose document and branding images from your phone.
- Product updates (Optional). Optional product and service communication.
Withdrawing consent
Optional consent can be withdrawn in Settings. Withdrawing stops new collection and stops generating new documents; files already stored on your account stay available to you until the record is deleted. Required consent may require stopping the related service or account use.
Your rights
- Request correction of inaccurate profile data.
- Request deletion where retention is no longer required.
- Raise a privacy grievance through the support contact.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and the records under it from inside the app, or by writing to us if you no longer have it installed. How to delete your account.
