How it works

From an empty property list to a finished agreement

Five steps, in the order you would do them. Each one is short, and you can stop and come back without losing what you entered.

The flow

  1. 1

    Add the property

Enter the property and the room numbers it has. Rooms are the labels you already use, so the list matches the building.

  2. 2

    Record the household

Add the tenant, then everyone living with them. Each person gets their own name, phone and relation to the tenant.

  3. 3

    Capture documents

Photograph each person’s Aadhaar and PAN, or let the tenant bring their Aadhaar in from DigiLocker by signing in to their own account.

  4. 4

    Create the agreement

Choose the room, the term, the rent and the deposit. Add guarantors, witnesses and company details if the tenancy needs them.

  5. 5

    Download the document

Pick a document template and download it. Take the full version and the tenant’s documents are attached behind it, ready to hand over.

After the agreement is signed

The household can change

Add someone who moves in, mark someone who moves out, or promote another member to be the main tenant. The record follows the tenancy rather than freezing on day one.

Disputes are recorded against a person

Raise a dispute with the amount and the reason, and name who is responsible for it. Your dues screen totals the disputed amounts so you can see what is outstanding.

You hear when a disputed tenant turns up elsewhere

If a tenant you have an open dispute against is later added at another property on Agreement Pro, you are told which property and where it is.

Staff can help without seeing everything

Create logins for the people who work with you and give each one an access level. They work inside your account, on your records.

One thing it is not

Agreement Pro is not a rent ledger. It does not record payments, produce receipts, calculate arrears or send payment reminders. The dues figure is the total of disputes you have raised, not rent owed.
